The Houghton Lake Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of the business community. It is funded solely through membership investment and non-dues sources like proceeds from events hosted by the Chamber

It is a private, nonprofit corporation whose purpose is to unite business and professional firms within the community to create a central agency working to increase prosperity by encouraging growth of existing businesses and fostering new business development.

The strength of a chamber lies in the support of its members. By networking a pool of resources, energy and finances we can accomplish greater things collectively as opposed to individually.

Your membership investment paid to the Chamber helps to pursue our goals in promoting retail opportunities and tourism. Also payment allows us to provide a wide spectrum of information and services for residents, visitors, community agencies and organizations.
